That does not justify exploitation of the incident. Relying on written rules as a moral compass is a symptom of our degenerate society. The question wouldn't have been raised, nor the issue even discussed if people didn't know what they were doing was wrong. Allowing the behavior of others to drive one's moral compass is equally vile. It's the kind of behavior that leads to shopping carts in planters 10' away from the cart return, empty beverage containers discarded on retail shelves, and genocide.
