As for asserting dominance, I really hope you're never at a place in your life where you think that is going to save you. Humans survive encounters in the wild with gorillas and chimps by doing the exact opposite and acting submissive. That is because those people are not retarded and understand the second one of those animals flips the kill switch your life is over.

This is actually not true. While a man would have no chance against a full grown gorilla, these statistics of a chimp being X stronger than a human, is based off of an "average human"

A very large human that has trained with weights and fighting for years would be drastically stronger than an "average human" and could easily kill said human with his own bare hands.

Additionally, chimps are strong at pulling things, not especially at pushing them which is the motion used for punching. So say a heavyweight figther such as Brock Lesner in his MMA prime, vs an average 150lb chimpanzee, I would put all of my money on the human. But a 200lb freak chimpanzee vs a small female, well..we all know how that ends.
