In a mob that requires a 0 pause CH chain, I'd tend to think no duck casting is an advantage rather than a disadvantage.
Damage spikes come so frequently you cannot duck a cast at 1s left to save mana because the tank may eat a flurry round in that 1s. It would help on unexpected tank swaps, but if those are happening you may have already lost.
But if you are able to gain an extra 1-2 med ticks by sitting as you cast, like you can when duck casting isn't enabled, that helps prolong cleric mana life in a long fight.
