Iruin, that story you fabricated is why hollow point should be legal. Intruder would be done and there is 0 chance the bullet goes through him to hit anyone else. But idiots like you don't know that and have voted to make those illegal as well.

Ok another option.

BOOM the father kills the burglar. Later after he is proven to have used his weapon in self defense he is striken with a deep depression discovering that the burglar was just a young misguided youth. He turns to alcohol to sooth the memories of watching someones child slowly die on his own sons bedroom floor.

The memory was never shaken from his own son either. He shuts himself off from his friends at school and suffers from traumatic flashbacks.

A year down the road the father in an alcohol induced rage accidentally discharged his forearm, this time not at an intruder but at his wife. He turns the gun against himself and the child is left under the care of social work and becomes a responsibility of the state.

Shooting people. Not even once.

And remeber the intruder in the original fabricated story that defends the use of firearms said it was a burglar. Anyone that's seen Antman knows that means he was unarmed and was only after material objects.
