I wish you well.
Back in 2004' I made a similar request on the original EQ forums. Before I knew it, I was the leader of a 32 member guild named Tuesday Night Fight Club. Our first night we had three groups of six level 4's out slaughtering kobolds in Steamfont Mountains. We even killed our first Named Mob that night. Bugglegupp wiped out over half of us before we put her down.
Naturally, with such a large group, disagreements soon arose over such topics as twinking, where to go, alts, etc.
We had an anti-twinking rule that no one could use armor or weapons that they could not obtain on their own. However, we had a few members who were very good at Bazzaar trading and were soon quite rich and sporting fancy gear while most of us were still in cloth armor and wielding rusty weapons. There was strong disagreement over whether or not wearing gear purchased with self earned platinum was a violation of the rule.
Long story-short, by the end of our first year we were down to 7 or 8 permanent members, but a dedicated group of six remained together for about five years unti life circumstances slowly forced some of us to leave the game.
Good news is that we never closed down our guild forum board and kept in touch even though we weren't playing anymore. Now the six of us are together again on P1999 and have reformed our guild. We now play on Wednesdays and call ourselves Ghosts of TNFC.

This group are some of my best friends and will probably remain so forever. May you be as fortunate with the friends you make here!
