The B-ripple police department pays it's officers 125k a year, where Hasbinbad lives they are paid upwards of 200k a year... Plus they get to take their squad cars home and milk the taxpayers for free gas, and use their badge to get free food, discounts, free rent at upscale apartments etc.

Add all those benefits into their gross pay they're probably making 350k a year, that's more than Ph.D level engineers.

Which is why corruption is so high and cover-ups are common place, if you're getting $200,000 a year with free gas and free food with nothing more than a GED and a small military record you're set for life especially when you retire and milk in HUGE benefits. Most police officers in that bracket know if they were fired and retained the stigma of being a "bad cop" the best job they can get with those credentials is working summer construction for a whopping $11 p/h
