Trust me the grass is at a reasonable length. The guy just likes to mention how tall its getting but doesnt also talk about how his tomato plants are growing over the fence and onto my property. I'm not going to bother saying anything to him but next time i go out to weed whack i might just take a little off the top

If its something i cant do anything about then i stop caring because there is no point in worrying or complaining about something you can not do anything about.
