Hi Gunkk,

Glad that you have the drive and commitment to actively make a change. I'd love to be a part and help out, although I have a few clarifications and an all too common limiter re: fiancée aggro management.

Clarifications:
- Guild Charter (purpose)
- Guild Values (values & behaviours)
- Guild Policies (don't be a douche)

I have a few reservations in the back of my mind. Namely, how to avoid becoming a "Recruit & Level" type guild, how to avoid a revolving door of new and exiting members, and setting up a karma system for helping other members i.e. need to put in before you can take out (help others e.g. groups, dungeon crawls, quests, etc).

Although the intention is to be a Europa feeder guild, I do hope that enough members stick around after 35+, so that the guild has a solid core of players. I wouldn't mind the occasional raid (to experience this side of the game - not fussed about drops), but my own interest and time commitments preclude me from a pure Raiding guild. Dungeon crawling with as few as possible, close to the zone level, preferably with little / no twinking is what it is all about for me.

Oh. Killing Halfling and Dwarf Guards - once I gain levels.

Cheers!
How the future of our all too casual raiding will play out is not easy to answer at this stage. Europa has offered to help us with some things and even let us tag along, but nothing more detailed than that has been set in stone, (and may never).
I honestly don't have enough spare time to administrate a few of the things you are suggesting, this guild was created to be a home for the socials (and a temporary place for the lvlers that wan't to raid). I had no more aspirations in mind than such, and knowing EQ enough, there are a lot of people that don't play for much more than that, or take months to level a character. Because of those things I believe that the guild will have a solid amount of members at any time.

The basic guildrules(posted on forum) and mumble server have been delayed slightly, I had planned on getting them done yesterday, but it seems the machine intended decided do act up and is now getting a fresh install, too much cluttered junk. I'll prolly have it up and running sometime this week. Work taking up some time as well.

As we grow and our place in the community solidifies what type of guild-events and what atmosphere can be expected will be much clearer. As of now we are mostly focused on not letting people experience this monolithic game alone, because that is by far the worst experience and does not do this guild justice.

Other details can for now, wait [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
