I think it's all important that we adhere to the rules, not just lawyer doctor them constantly in a effort to exploit them as form of punishment toward our enemies.
I think it's also important that staff reach out to each person explicitly telling them what they were suspended or banned for. When suspensions and bans are addressed from months ago many players truly have no idea what they did wrong. And often the description of the offense is extremely vague. I only say this because it is very important for players to know exactly what they've done so they can refrain from repeating those offenses in the future. It's especially important for the reason for a suspensions or ban be stated BEFORE the punishment. Not for the offender but for the victims, many players who are suspended or banned on one account, have access to many other characters and can keep committing the offense not even knowing that one account is suspended, this makes players suffer from a rulebreaker who may be oblivious to their own actions violating TOS. | ||
