imo go with the wis, as many +wis items can be orientated towards priests and have less martial stats on them.
str can be buffed easier than wis! http://wiki.project1999.com/Storm_Strength etc. Make friends with a shm, for either grpage(buffs) or str potions. Its a good duo combination anyway. Try bow kiting with a necro....if you can find one that will talk to you! most of them are sullen, selfabsorbed types.....
