how i won Quellious' 50-and-under BOTB

I don't remember what year, but Quellious server held a best of the best free-for-all in the arena for characters level 50 and under

My character was Elena, a pimp ass bard

I only remember a few of the rules: No charms or fear, and don't step out of the box area or you will be death touched by the GMs

The spells I memorized were Selo's, Dispel, Snare, hymn, niv's, resist songs, and fear (muahaha)

My priorities were:
1. Keep away from melee, but kill them last
2. Kill wizards, mages and priest classes first
3. Keep resist songs on myself and run around like an idiot
4. Dispel any snares on myself immediately
5. Keep myself healed
6. Let all these morons kill each other

Everything was going great for about a minute or so until a few melee realized that I wasn't being touched. They came after me, so i dragged them into the largest concentration of contestants. I put on my horn and released a juicy fear and sent about 8 people out of the box area, where they were promptly death touched by trigger-happy GMs.

To prevent disqualification, I pretended I was feared but stopped right before the edge of the box (teehee). Stupid GMs thought I was a victim of the fearing as well. I did this twice more in a spot that was dense with noobs.

Soon it was down to about 5 people and they were all melee, so I unmemmed resist songs and fear, and memorized the 3 dots. At one point a monk and rogue were coming after me, but after I snared them, they fought each other. I helped them kill each other with some juicy dots and soon it was down to just me and a ranger (lol).

He had no chance. Dispelled his dots whenever he cast them, snared him if he got close and healed myself while rotting him down. Finished him off with a melee punch in the face with my drum in my other hand. What a pussy.

My reward: some shitty necklace that was a downgrade
