It isn't that I don't understand why someone would buy a toon. It was the price tag being so high that surprised me (see my OP link for the auction of a mid lvl tank with mediocre gear going for like 25k).

I also think the question of how/if this behavior could affect the community at large is a fair one to ask (no matter what side you fall on the issue). My biggest concern here over live is that with totally FREE accounts what incentive do you have to not create a new account for each of your toons?

I think this is taking the problem much too seriously then it currently is, but if the problem does become community changing perhaps the devs ought to consider limiting the amount of accounts a single IP can have.
Whenever I think of selling my account I think of that episode of Pokemon where Ash trades his pidgeotto for some guy's raticate on the S.S. Anne. It would make me really sad to lose my bard [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
