On live I rolled an DE SK and when I got to lvl 60 during the PoP days I learned that I messed up my starting points and was buying terrible gear... clerics hated when i tanked... also my name sounded girly, Radenia... got harrassed about it alot. getting unlocked for plane of earth and quitting EQ after when all I wanted to do was kill quarm... I won a roll on a SK only shield that drops from the dragon in lavastorm agaisnt someone who really wanted it. He was chatting with me saying gj bla bla and when I told him "ya this is great now I can lvl up my bash, never used a shield before" (I only used 2handers at the time, he always had a shield). He became very upset with me after that and ignored me in the guild for the rest of my EQ days. I was a total noob playing my first and only toon on live i dont even know how a guild invited me to help them kill the gods in PoP lol.
This isnt a stupid story but facing the plauge bringer god in PoD i got too much agro and was getting beat on but for some reason the game blessed me and i was invincible, my health was dropping dramatically fast but also rising to 100% just as fast. Normally because my stats and sk sucked so much that i should of died in 2 or 3 hits and no way the healers were healing me as quickly as he turned on me. This lasted more than a minute and my jaw was on the floor while i was staring at my health bar. When he finally went down i tried explaining it to the raid and guild chat... no one cared =/ it was one of the most heart pounding moments for me in PoP until fighting PoT gods
