That's extremely easy to get around. One of two things is going on; either your DNS will not return an IP address for those sites, or that IP address is blocked by your ISP. If it's a DNS issue just go into your network settings and change your DNS to openDNS or something. If it's an IP block purchase a VPN for 5 bucks per month and neither your ISP's BFR(big fucking router) or your LAN's firewall will be able to see any sites that you have been browsing since all of your computers traffic will be routed through one IP address in some distant foreign country. DSL really blows; I'll never go back after docsis 3.0
