The baseball playoff parity is even more impressive when you consider it has the least % of teams making the playoffs:

NFL: 12/32 = 37.5%
NBA: 16/30 = 53%
MLB: 8/30 (until this year) = 26% and 10/30 this year and going forward = 33%
