SMS verification pending?

While resetting my password on an account I created in 2010 I keep getting a "SMS verification pending for this account or number" if anyone has a fix for this please post here or pm me I have been fighting this for nearly a year? I have full access to the account to include the login server I just need to reset the password as I no longer know the current one.
