I never understood the hate for rangers in classic (pre kunark).

A lot of my exploration was done with a RL ranger buddy. RNG and PAL are a damn fine duo... a swiss army knife if you will. I remember many a person telling the two of us "I've never seen anyone squeeze as much out of a class as you two."

Hm. Maybe it was the player, and not the class.
