Wrong. He has offered nothing to compensate my bard other than to change the PW for me, so that at any time he may change it back and steal it again. Why would I trust someone with such low moral standing to stay honest to his word and not mess with the account again?

Also, losing a name is far more important to me than losing the levels.

It's sad that so many of you have become this innately pessimistic about community interactions and caring for other players. It's even more sad that you can't see beyond the characters to the fact that someone out there (me) wasted quite a bit of real life time at this community to have it wrongfully taken away because of an arbitrary change to the system.

You can quote all of the "at your own risk" posts that you want. The fact of the matter is that there was no "risk" involved to those accounts with the system as it currently stood when I sold the eqemu account when it was not against the rules to do so. It came down to me losing my hard work because of a change you guys made to the system.

Even more so, it's really disheartening that someone like you nilbog, whom obviously shares the same love for classic pvp and everquest, could turn away from my pleas for help, when it became more about doing the right thing and less about rule lawyering as everyone here has become accustomed to do.
