Maybe if you lived in El Paso or some shit? I was able to support my wife and kid on 55k/year + 12% yearly bonus when I got started in my craft...but that was fuckin barely. 10% less than that even and my house is getting foreclosed on or I'm flipping burgers on the weekend.

And this is in the Minnesota 'burbs, not like NYC.
