Based on what I've seen/heard so far regarding his project:

Resist system high priority
Hit rates high priority
Anticheat high priority
Boxing
Community feedback high priority

We all know that P99 has the closest thing to classic, and it would be dumb to try and put a competing model up against them. I can't speak for HB, but his project can be just as equally popular if not more, based on the fact that hes been a part of this project for so many years he knows what is needed. He knows what kind of changes and tweaks are needed for a PvP server, and plans to have active development to make sure the players are happy and balanced.

Since this is being financially backed, there won't be any "we are volunteers therefore fuck off if you don't like the same code since beta".

That alone is promising.
