I think the reason people seek out and choose this particular server is to avoid things exactly like what you described.
Not knocking you, I just think that people come to this server that was created with a very (semi) specific timeline/rule set/goal in mind, and then try and tweak or change it to fit their particular tastes. In any event, maybe not a bad idea somewhere else, but certainly this isn't the place for it.
