I had my shaman in SolA for a week waiting for people to show up. Nobody but lvl 35+ in there farming everyday. Each time I would log in and do a /whoall 25 30 almost everyone on that list would be in MM. The rest are sitting in EC with maybe 1 or 2 in HPH. I held out for a week because the zem in Sol A kicks the crap out of MM, but when there's nobody there to get any exp period, you go where the herd has gone.

I guess that's one of the fallbacks to playing a game this old. Nobody needs to explore anymore because they've seen it all and have their favorite xp spots.
yea you have to get a group of people you know together to try the weird places... but iirc in classic that's what I did too.. I did most weird camps with my best online friends, and did most random group age in the main ones, like MM.

its one thing to spend 45 minuets waiting next to a group for a spot in a group you've confirmed will be there for the next 4 hours... compared to running for 20 minuets to meet someone you're going to pay 20pp to port you to so you can run another 20 minuets to get to a zone that may or may not have people in it (most likely wont) and when it does the group breaks up and now you just are shit outa luck.. especially as a melee with no gate!

I blame the remote nature of most kunark zones for thier lack of randoms grouping with eachother.

fact is, you can wait in sola for a group.... you do in perma and pre seb kunark - goooood luck.
