My first trip to Florida we drove down. I was wearing sandals. Step out of the car onto a fire ant hill, red ants that bit you and stung like crazy at least. That was fun.

ahhh fire ants.. when i was a wee little shit, my dad got stationed at cherry point NC and i had never seen an ant hill. so there i was.. staring at a foot tall peculiar looking mound of dirt. i did what any reasonable 5 year old kid would do and kicked it, only to discover moments later that about 50 of those little fuckers were trying to eat my feet. it was a bad day.
