TMO has always taken a zero-tolerance stance against people RMTing and using cheating programs. People caught have been summarily guildremoved and told they're not welcome back. Nihilum takes a different approach - the worst among them are given a crutch by being offered gear and assistance on a new character when the banhammer swings.
No doubt lots of RMT happens/happened on blue, but TMO as a guild never put its hand in it. All the leadership (except maybe Faz) is pretty well off irl anyways. Not that this would preclude one for engaging in RMT, but I (and all other TMO members) can tell you that the accounting and transparency is too good to allow it. Just a week or two ago an ex-member accused me of pilfering guildbank for RMT and whatever. It felt great to shove a spreadsheet in his face that showed months of meticulous accounting. Does Nizzarr do that for you? How would you rate Nihilum's transparency?
