Aight just to take inventory here. If you read this:

It's typical of criticism of the show at this point. People are getting fed up with the predictable trope smashing. I'd argue that if the duel scene was done better, i.e. closer to the book, people wouldn't be reducing the show to "repetitively gratuitous." In the book, when the mountain explains the order in which he raped elia and killed her and the children, it has impact. The dialogue that replaces this in the episode is really clumsy, blunts that impact and makes it seem as if GRRM and the producers are only going for shock value. Epic fail.

The scene where Arya busts out laughing on learning that Lysa is dead is really well done and much needed relief from the repetitive horror, as the writer above notes. However, it leaves me wondering how the show is going to write its way out of it. Do you think, if the hound really showed up at the bloody gate, that they'd just let him walk out of there with one of the most valuable hostages in the seven kingdoms? Even if Lysa is dead, her cousin is the ruler of the Vale and she should have protection there, right? How does the buddy cop film not end right here?
