And that's fine. You appear to represent the minority of people on blue in that even that even they agree there's no harm in a post - right?
Red will not be for you. Period. The fact that threads in "your section" of the forums bother you is proof-positive you will be completely unable to ignore ooc. And there is more than just you. Those threads aren't targeting you - your type enjoys crafting goods in the EC tunnel or admiring the paintings in the Crows Nest Inn.
Reds don't like blue because it's hand holding and you gotta "compete" (neckbeard camp) targets. They also like fighting thinking enemies and resolving disputes with sticks.
Blues don't like red because the community (people who use edgy words), don't like pvp and like eq as a relaxing game.
Since you've admitted to enjoying high-pop raiding scene and leap frogging guilds (with, I'm assuming the headaches that come with it) then you can pretty much say it's not for you.
Best of luck - I hope you've found what you're looking for.

You got most of it right, I dont raid on P99. I play Blue99 to experience the things I didnt do on live, between school, summer jobs and whatnot I only had time for my main, a ********, and now Im here on P99 playing all the classes I didnt get to and enjoying myself. always wanted to be a bard ever since my friend on Bertox got me into a Seb AoE group, motherfucker pulled half the zone, survived and ... yeah.
So who are those Threads in the Blue Community directed twards? Are they ment for new people who JUST discovered Project 1999 as a whole, or are they ment for bored level 60s who want something new to do waiting for Velious? If Red was as awesome as people make it out to be, the devs would not of needed to add exp bonuses, or level ranges or coin only deaths. People at this point KNOW Red is there, now its just a matter if they like PvP or not now.
Am I hoping all threads/ads/blue broadcasts/level 1 EC criers come to a complete halt? No, but I hope it gets toned down. To how it was before.
