Erati is right, twinks were looked down upon back in the day when I played. I stopped shortly after Vellious and could imagine future expansions twinks being less and less un-cool.
It was looked down upon cus most people were playing their characters for the first time, a twink seemed like a spoiled jerk, throwing it in their cloth wearing groupmates faces that they were from the rich part of town
