I don't have a dog in this fight, but assuming that the purpose of the server is to emulate the original game, then a server wipe is necessary. But not until velious is out and most things have been solved.

Kind of funny though that Tecmos has a stick so far up his ass on this issue you can probably see leaves when he talks. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] on the serious side though, I can see his point of view. Wiping the server before velious is out and polished would be stupid. Not only would it be unfair to the guys who have put a lot of time into this server regardless of how messed up it has been at some points. It would also be silly not to take the time to play through the last expansion so to fix any issues there.
