Several factors. The main factor was the constant destabilization of Red Dawn's core, with Azrael infiltrating the guild early on and later ripping the guts out of the guild when they split, leaving warm bodies and loyal core. Red EXP bonus was removed roughly at the same time (coincidence?).

The sad thing about RD is that HB tried to get the guild up on its feet and sought assistance from Nihilum after Azrael ripped his guilds guts out.

Nihilum threw them a few bones, but it was at the expense of guild morale, as many of the PvPers wanted RD to earn their items.

On the other side of the fence Azrael was doing the usual 'crush Nihilum scum and all their allies' routine and griefed the fuck out of RD.

HB was now bleeding members to Azrael and the new players were quitting the game on a daily basis, meaning there was no new members coming in. This was the final few days of RD.

A guild that chooses to train VP with rez boxes instead of improve their own members is not healthy for the server. What confuses me though, is they have a history of warping past mobs in VP but don't get punished, but we get raid suspended in VP because we strategically positioned our raid force to a location using gflux in which we couldn't get trained. It was considered exploiting, yet it provided a clear disadvantage due to getting AoEd several times before the mob got into camp due to non existent Z-Axis on spell effects.

Oh well, server just had its guts ripped out with RD disbanding. The majority of Nihilum core has been dropping off playing other games, we are down to a skeleton crew of vets with the majority of our player base being apps and non vets.

Congrats Azrael, enjoy your server.
