I'm not surprised, but it's sad that more people haven't said this. VTM:B had such potential, nearly ruined by a rushed shoddy release (the fault of the publisher, not the devs). But with the fan made patches it's truely a great game with massive replayability. If anyone owns a copy you should really check out the latest patches by "wesp5", find them on planetvampire.com.

Other games I keep going back to, which must mean they're good in some way:

EQ (of course)
Final Fantasy 7 (yeah I'm not hardcore enough to like the earlier ones!)
Ocarina of TIme
Eternal Darkness
Halo (good for a bit of co-op with the wife, oo er missus)
Dark Souls
