its about the journey, not the destination
What im trying to say is that everyone here has this mentality that (a) the game doesn't even begin until you are max level raiding and (b) getting to max level is just an annoying pain in the ass. Well unfortunately for u, original EverQuest was not designed to be a rush to the end-game like WoW. EverQuest was one game that was actually about the journey, and not the destination.
Think about it - if they made XP so hard that even Tune could only achieve level 40 and the rest of the population was 10-20, FS weapons would be the epic weapons, etc. What I'm saying is that this game is supposed to be played at all levels, it doesn't need to be played at max level / max gear.
