This is not true, Kung fu is not designed for ring or competitive fighting. Kung fu is designed to kill your opponent as fast as possible. Kung fu usually loses in the ring because its not designed for that. you cant kill your opponent in competitive fighting. I havent killed anybody myself nor do i plan to but its designed for that.

well in the ring yes grappler wins, but in rl not always the case

28 seconds into this video the kung fu fighter could have easily just snapped this grappler neck killed him fight over, but again this is a ring match so he simply cannot kill his opponent.

Kung fu is designed to use the most practical methods to kill your opponent as fast as possible. Yes we live in a society that you cant just kill somebody you will be in prison for life, but thats what this art is designed for. and thats the reason lots dont train in it. its a lot more practical to just beat up control or subdue your opponent in real life. the school i went to trained in mostly striking some grappling and 23 different weapons designed for practical everyday use. daggers/swords/spear/scimitar/chainedwhip/ etc
