Chanter charm

I was charming on my newbie enchanter and even with 130 cha my charm was breaking immediately after landing on the mob. I cast charm 6 times in a row and had this happen. Is this normal? I only got charm to last longer than 1 tick just once where it lasted almost the full duration. This was on a blue con desert madman.

I believe it is bugged from what I have read here.

I don't intend to even bother relying on it. I may try it, but only when I know I have an "out" of the fight if it fails. I certainly wouldn't go for any group strategy that includes charm [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
