I voted no, he shouldn't because one simple reason: he is not(directly) responsible for the "cheaters" actions.

Now do I think he should stop having this victim mindset? Who cares what I think lol.

What should happen, imo, is that he should get his guild back together, sans cheaters/disphits, and he should roll forward as the obviously strongest guild and set an example for civility and raid etiquette for the future to come.

I have met quite a few awesome people from TMO, I've also met a few from BDA and FE and you know what guys? It is all just a game, can't we go back to having fun and feeling that nostalgia from when the game first came out and we were all noobs?

If that means we all work together to make the raid scene a better place, so be it. If it means having competition to see who can down the mobs then do it guys, just don't bring the negativity to the plate, it just makes people drop lower and lower until finally someone goes too far to stretch their reach too far and a large number of accounts get banned because of oversight.

To be honest I feel bad for the people inside of TMO who were on the wrong side of all this and have had their accounts seized/banned, but to be honest; did you not see some form of punishment being leveled?

In closing I just want to say that we all love EQ, we all enjoy being here with real or virtual friends and we all want to see the server flourish, so why not take action to make that end come to fruition rather than simply acting out of greed for "muh pixels"?

The guy was a cancer. His guild is s cancer. His cronies sold characters and items for real currency. He trained people on purpose. He was complicit and every anti player action his guild ever did. He routinely disrespected any envoy to discuss multi guild functions repeatedly. His guild made any high level guild function as war of attrition and the opposite of fun. Him and any of his officers should be blackballed forever.

I bet shinko still has audio from the times his cronies disrespected GMs and guilds in a ventrillo discussion. He is scum and he deserves it.


But I wouldn't ban him. I hope every server first in velious is done by another guild. See what his greed and cheating have got him.
