When I worked at McDs long ago I never had to drug test. I even overheard my managers talking about how they couldn't drug test cause they'd lose over half the crew.

I guess McD's is probably more on a per-franchise basis. Who knows? Around here they probably do... they got a line out the door for people willing to work for em.
