From what I gathered from this test chests are instanced to you only. I had lots of people standing either nearby or almost directly on chests that never bothered opening them, and I can only assume it's because they had their own chests and I was seeing mine.

What? I haven't heard anything about this. How would this even be possible? I see how they could phase you out with people depending on what stage of a quest you're on, but how could they phase you based on hardcoreness or age?
I'm not sure they're still doing this? In the test there was instancing even though it may have seen like everyone was crammed into the same map. I know this because in some our quest bug testing we were relogging to get less crowded instances, and I did read about some people in groups having issues where they'd be put in different instances after leaving a dungeon and going back to the main world.

I'm hoping that's sort of the direction they're taking now. I hope they aren't bothering with age or hardcoreness phasing anymore.
