Thulack is correct, as in most people have dynamic ips through their isp. Which just means every time you connect to your isp hub after idle times, you are assigned a new generic ip. Smaller hubs may only have as few as 5 ips, while major city hubs may have 1000 or more. Now if your lucky in your job and play eq from work, your ip may never change, as alot of businesses have static ips. Static ips connect your router to hubs using the same ip everytime, which you would know if you have to actually type in the ip in the windows settings. But i imagine if you look under your connection settings, your computer will say detect ip automatically, hence dynamic.
