Sorry but that's not the case. Show me a deck of common/uncommons that beats a deck of rares/mythics. The cost of entry therefore is extremely high if you want that thrill of beating a decent deck.

most expensive card is Hallowed Fountain at $10 a piece, mostly commons and uncommons, only other rare is Fabled Hero at $2 a piece, total deck value $55, beating decks that cost hundreds with it = priceless.
