Item loot server: your gearing up strategy

So there is much debate over the item loot / team pvp server.

I've seen people saying it won't work because they'll rage quit after losing the item they spent 3 weeks questing for.

So what will be your strategies for staying geared on the server?

Rolling a mage and filling that last empty slot with a cloth necklace at level 49?

Only looting what you find because really the first 40 levels of classic content gear is just a safety net for the lazy/incompetent and by the time you are levelled you will have found enough half decent items anyway?

Putting in three times as much effort into acquiring spare items to keep in the bank to quickly refill any empty slots?

AC rules so just pump out cheap banded place holders each time a slot needs refilling?

Being a Pvp king that never loses items, only gains them?
