Game Mechanics: Dieing/Zoning Group Bug- Just This EMU or Problem for All?

Hey all,

I'd like to preface my experience that I have not played extensively on any other EMU EQ server so this could be a problem that plagues the EMU coding rather than P1999, but I am sure everyone has experienced this bug before. You are in a group you die or zone a couple times and bam no longer are you able to hear or talk in groupchat and you also cannot disband on your own, you have to be removed from the group and reinvited. Sometimes this also causes you to not gain exp when bugged and I have even had the experience of my group window saying two completely different groups (IE I die and my group outside the dungeon has a different list of people than when I zone back into the dungeon). I am sure everyone has run into this one, I am posting it just to find out if this is an issue currently being look at for a fix or is it filed under the this is a 'general EQ emulator bug' somethings will never be completely resolved.


on a positive note, I am really enjoying P1999 and couldnt be happier with my gaming experience, very nice work everyone has done here. I really appreciate the efforts of the devs and the community for bringing this game back to live in it's classic form.
