EZPK didn't steal the gear. He was just trying to make a point in a very very dumb way. This person on the other hand hasn't the slightest interest in returning anything.

The only reason he caught as much fire as he did is because in attempts to make his point, he kept insisting that he had no intention of returning it . Which he did ....
