What is funny is I was testing a new system I put in. I added a system that allows me to disable someone or guild from the leaderboards, it just hides their data nothing is deleted. The purpose of this was purely if someone abused the system, and after warning them and if they kept doing it I would disable them from the boards.
To test it I flipped the switch on Azrael and a few people to make sure it works. I told no one in Team Speak when I did this, but 5 minutes after I flipped the switch and was checking the test I started getting massive HATE spam from Azrael and Colgate. Then OOC exploded. Honestly I thought it was pretty funny at their response. I was laughing about as hard as I ever had in team speak. I had planned to flip the switch back off right away but their response really made me not want to. So I decided to leave it until the next morning. It made a slow day a lot more interesting.
The integrity of the leaderboard is pretty important to me. I don't care if people use the boards but I do care if it is accurate or not. I am not saying the boards has 100% of every kill since I implemented it but I would estimate it has 99.5% of all kills since then. I can assure you though, if a kill is listed on by boards it is 100% legit.
Anyway, unless someone or guild is abusing the system this feature wont be flipped back on again.
