oh sorry, that was a half joke, tiggles ran a stream for a while but is on hiatus now or something. he has powerful characters but tends to do boring stuff with them on stream.
the effect of bard songs is pretty short, usually on the order of 15-20 seconds depending on when you cast them. usually you want to keep as many up as possible at any one time -- between 3 and 5 songs. you have to do this by singing song 1, then stopping the song as soon as its effect takes place so that you can start another. the faster you can switch/twist songs, the more songs you can keep up at any one time.
