My 'low power' rifle i can hit targets at 600yards out with .308 usually under 1" groupings, farther when wind isn't going nuts. with a REAL low powered file, my 10/22 I can hit 300yds constantly, try correcting for the drop alone(not to mention side winds) of a .22lr 1280fps round 300yds+ out =)
