I understand that people may view fantasy a little differently, but when we say fantasy genre, we tend to realize that means elves, dwarfs, halflings, etc. It also think it is safe to assume that in no "fantasy" literature dealing with elves, dwarfs, halflings, etc. would you find names like "jerkzoffontoast", "ballliker", "blowzurmom", "underthesheetz", etc. Even less offensive names such as "crushemsmashem", "tidybowl", or "thunderstud" are nowhere to been seen in the literature. Obviously fantasy names will be made up, but I feel they should be done so in line with the conventions set forth by the genre or game itself. Looking at NPCs usually gives one the idea of what names would be like for PCs in the game-world. Just a thought.
