Can't blame him for joining the only guild on the server. There's not even a competitor guild at the moment. You want him to just not play instead? Wanyo / oppressor / tunak / freez / badger, these are all people I recruited over a year ago via constant ooc recruiting / forum posts / tells etc. Where's the new blood in these guilds? Where's the direction? The opposition here only define themselves as " anti nihilum " but not as their own guild. Heresy tried to, but Rexx just doesn't seem to have the neckbeard necessary, I think he has a job and shit which is a huge no no for leading an eq guild. Also a lot of them supposedly quit when the team99 shit was announced.
Gorenaire has been up for months, why not form up and make alliances to take her down? Show the server you're serious about pixels. Multiple dragons are left up weekly in VP. There's tons of trak teeth and keyed chars outside of nihilum. Why not complete the keys and give it a go? Sure you might fail, but at least you're trying and that inspires people in eq to join your team. Spamming ooc and shit just sends more people to nihilum.
The number one recruiting tool nihilum has and always has, is how awful the other guilds have been here. Pixels is a distant second.

I don't see why playing as a new char would be much fun in Nihilum either. Nihilum doesn't seem to have much of a presence besides on raid day. If you are enjoying a game you need to have stuff to do whenever you log in. There doesn't seem to be any good consistent guilds at the moment.
