Default starting guilds?

Wouldn't it be pretty easy to implement default guilds? So that people starting on the server have a newb guild at their fingertips from the get-go? Not that it would be *that* much better than OOC as is... but it would give legitimately new players some people to network with. If you don't like it you can drop the tag, right? It's not classic but it doesn't exactly change the mechanics of the game either.

Mortal Online has something similar, a newbie channel, which has worked pretty well for them.
