To support my previous theory regarding Microsoft C++.
"Make sure you have Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable Package installed. For a 64 bit OS: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/downl....aspx?id=18471" This person had a similar issue with the error you got in SWTOR. I know in a lot of cases with video games in particular, not having this could restrict you from having various visual runtime components necessary for some games.
