Fungis are great if you want to play Solo Quest. Gives no incentive for grouping and ruins the experience for many others to favor the exploits of one person. It is really the worst item in the game.

That's kind of a narow minded view. Fungi made my SK way easier to heal lvl 1-40 on the occasion I was actually able to find a healer to group with and allowed me to solo w/o massive downtown when I couldn't. I'd always take duo/trio with healer type over soloing but maybe thats just me. One of the best items in game I'd say.
