"Conservatism," or more to the point of what you're trying to get across: libertyism (a term i just made up), is this weird form of pet peeve government. You see people want the liberty to do whatever it is that they want to do freely, but have specific pet peeves about only certain things and in those cases they REALLY WANT CENTRAL GOVERNMENT TO SAVE THEM FROM THE EVIL OF TOO MUCH FREEDOM.
I think this is best exemplified in minarchy, but probably most widely adopted in libertarianism.
You can't have your cake and eat it too. Either you accept government, and take with it all of the (imho inevitable) woes we're currently going through, in ADMITTEDLY ONE OF THE FAIREST, MOST WELL THOUGHT OUT, LEAST INVASIVE (in conception) governments of a decently large population that the world has ever seen, or you admit that government is the issue and get on with something better, like stopping your douchebaggery and respecting each other.
